Who this policy covers

This policy explains what Duluth Concrete Works collects when you use our website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We're a concrete contractor in Duluth, MN, and this site is how most homeowners first reach us about a driveway, patio, slab or other concrete job.

It covers every page of the site, from the home page to the estimate request form. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.

If you'd like to know more about who we are before you share anything, our About page tells you about the business and our crew.

What information we collect

We collect what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical information your browser shares when you visit.

Information you give us. When you fill out our estimate or contact form, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, street address and a description of the job, such as cracks, sinking or pooling water on an existing slab. You may also send photos. We only ask for what we need to understand the job and get back to you.

Information from calls and emails. If you call (218) 514-2182 or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can follow up on your request.

Technical information. Like most websites, ours can record basic visit details, such as your browser type, device, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed and the site that sent you here. This information doesn't usually identify you by name.

Our contact form

Our estimate and contact form is run by an outside form service, so the details you type into it are stored by that service and then passed to us. That service handles your information under its own privacy policy as well as this one.

We use what you send through the form only to answer your request, schedule an estimate and do the job if you hire us.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember your visit. Our site may use them to keep pages working properly and to help us see how visitors use the site.

We may use an analytics tool that counts visits and shows which pages people read, so we can tell what's useful and fix what isn't. That tool may set its own cookies and collect the technical details described above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do, though some features may not.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the business and serve you, and for nothing else. That means replying to your request, setting up an estimate, planning and doing the work, sending invoices, answering questions after the job and keeping the records a business is required to keep.

We also look at overall site traffic so we can improve the website.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent it or trade it to anyone for marketing.

When we share it

We share your information only when we need to in order to do the job or run the business. That can include the form service and website tools described above, suppliers or subcontractors working on your project, and people who help with our accounting or insurance.

We may also share information when the law requires it, such as to answer a valid legal request, or to protect our business, our crew or our customers.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the reason you gave it to us. For an estimate that doesn't go ahead, that's usually a shorter time. For a job we complete, we keep project and billing records longer because we need them for warranty questions, taxes and business records.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong or delete it. We'll do that unless we're required to keep certain records, and if so we'll tell you what we have to keep and why.

You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have other privacy rights under your state's law. If you do, contact us and we'll help you use them.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, and we limit who on our team can see it to the people who need it for your job.

No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial details through the contact form.

Children's information

This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes and property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or the tools we use change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.

How to raise a privacy question or concern

If you have a question about your information, want to see, correct or delete it, or think we've handled it poorly, please tell us directly. You can call (218) 514-2182, email us or use our contact page.

We reply within 1 business day, and we'll work with you to sort out the problem.
